About the Business

After working for various window companies since 1984 I decided to form Auf-Wiedersehen Windows in 1997. Coming from hands on at the fitting end of the business taught me alot, especially what way customers liked to be treated. When Auf-Wiedersehen opened back in 1997 I covered from the sales right through to the fitting. After a short time the business expanded. I chose four fitters with experience and a good knowledge and also courteous approach to customers. This is why over 70% of our business is referral, and is growing from strength to strength.

I believe that a personal approach is what most people like, that is why I personally oversee every job we do from start to finish. We have carried out alot of bespoke custom work, Bay and Bow windows, sun lounges, conservatories, altering window and door openings, also several specialised jobs in Counties Mayo and Galway, where most of the gables of the houses were all glass curtain walled.

Doors

All our doors are available in a full range of colours to compliment your home. They have high security locking and glazing as standard and come with an 'A' Rate energy certificate as standard. We also offer a full range of bespoke glass to suit your budget and taste.

Choosing an entrance for your home is an important decision; that is why our panel door range is designed to provide enhanced security, weather performance and energy efficiency, whilst still maintaining style and aesthetic appeal. With a vast range of styles and decorative finishes available, Auf-Wiedersehen doors are designed to complement all house types.

The core materials of a door panel are bonded and moulded together using advanced technologies, achieving only the highest levels of thermal efficiency and weather performance. Multi-chambers within the door frame further increases the energy performance of the door by acting as a barrier against heat loss, all backed by a 15 year* manufacturer guarantee.

Door ranges include a number of glazed design options, designed in a traditional or contemporary style, and available with a range of decorative glass options. Each decorative glass unit is hand crafted whether bevel, lead, resin or sandblast designs. Half panel options allow for a larger glazing area and can be personalised with decorative, clear or obscure glass; half panel doors are ideal for use as a back door.

Casement Windows

Ith a vast range of styles and decorative finishes available, casement windows are designed to complement all house types. Casement windows are fitted with multi-point locking mechanisms as standard, ensuring only the highest levels of safety and security for your home. All window components and hardware are specifically selected and fitted to ensure ease of use and long term performance.

Casement windows offer superior levels of thermal efficiency; multi-chambers within the frame act as a barrier against heat loss, and high-performance glazing reflects internal heat back into the home whilst absorbing solar energy from outside.

Casement windows are available with double and triple glazed applications, and offer exceptional levels of energy performance; ensuring savings on home heating bills and reduced carbon emissions. Casement windows are designed and manufactured to meet specific customer requirements, and are available in a vast range of styles, sizes and opening configurations. The range includes single and multi-light casements, ranging from 2 to 6+ options. A range of sash options are also available for each style, including top and side hung combinations.

For enhanced visual appeal, casement windows feature a fully-sculptured frame finish and are available in a range of colour options, from authentic grain-effect foils to spray-painted RAL colours. Casements can be further personalised with the addition of Georgian or Astrical bar, or fully-integrated run-though sash horns for a more traditional appearance.

Conservatories

The wide range of conservatory designs, styles and configurations featured can be customised to your needs. The photographs can only illustrate a narrow cross section of styles and specifications that it is possible to design. Dwarf wall in brick, stone or render, full height frames, tilt and turn or top lights, leaded or unleaded, polycarbonate or glass roof, white or woodgrain - the list of combinations is virtually endless.

Three Facet Victorian: The 3 facet style is a classical Victorian conservatory. Its versatility and pleasing aesthetics make it suitable for almost all applications.

Five Facet Victorian: Similar to the 3 facet Victorian, this 5 faceted conservatory hints at a subtle rounded appearance. It offers the ideal blend of space and appearance.

Edwardian / Georgian: Georgian conservatories offer a clean and simple look with strong bold lines. The hip fronted corners of the Georgian style conservatories give the optimum space for a given plan area and maximise the interior floor space.

Gable Front: A gable fronted conservatory offers a distinctive and different alternative. When combined with a steeper pitched glass roof, they offer stunning looks that are unsurpassed.
