Doors
Balhousie’s residential doors are the perfect choice for security, both at the front and at the back of your home.
UPVC: We dedicate an enormous amount of time to door production, as we know how important it is that our UPVC Doors offer reliability in every situation. As well as being weather-tight and secure, they’re extremely stylish and come in a range of different eye-catching colours. When you buy one of our UPVC doors you are buying a quality product that will last for many, many years. Best of all, there will be absolutely no need for you to go to the trouble of maintaining your new door, as UPVC doesn’t rot, warp or fade.
Composite: Whenever you leave your home unoccupied you want to be sure you’ll come back to find everything safe. Composite doors are made of multiple materials and extremely thick. That means they’re incredibly tough, which is exactly what you need your front or back door to be when you’re away from home. It’s also worth mentioning that composite doors are maintenance-free for life so, once installed, they can be left alone, with only a wipe down now and again.
You needn’t worry about being limited in terms of colour choice or styling when buying Composite Doors, as we can supply them in a wide range of looks to ensure they fit in with any property type. Balhousie cannot recommend Composite Doors too highly, if reliability is a paramount requirement to you.
Stable Doors: Stable Doors differ from any other type of residential doors in that the top and bottom halves of the doors can be opened independently. This makes it an ideal choice of door if you like to have fresh air circulating around your home but are keen to ensure that any young children or dogs won’t get out. It’s the door equivalent of a traditional window.
When both parts of the door are closed and securely locked, using the tamper-proof locking system, they will be just as much of a deterrent to intruders as a standard door.
Yes and more.
Replacement Windows
On the lookout for the highest quality window replacement? You need to check out our collection of Windows. Balhousie can supply a wide selection of window styles.
Casement UPVC: Buying a set of Casement Windows will be one of your best-ever investments, as they need virtually no looking after and will protect your home from both burglars and the elements.
Tilt & Turn: Tilt & Turn Windows offer something completely different from any other window design, as they can be tilted inwards at the top and opened fully inwards too. This gives you a variety of options.
Georgian: The Georgian style has been a staple feature of British homes and architecture for hundreds of years. You can find examples of it pretty much everywhere you go.
And more.
Orangeries
If your home is predominantly brick-built, an orangery makes a fine extension. Originating in the 17th Century, orangeries continue to be the most popular alternative to the traditional conservatory, which is no surprise when you consider how well they blend in with an existing brick building. Orangeries are visually stunning and boast a warmer and more inviting atmosphere than many other types of extension. They’re also a designer statement that will really get people talking.
Conservatories
Why go to all the trouble of moving house, when a conservatory could solve all your space problems? A well-designed conservatory can totally rejuvenate your house for a comparatively small outlay – without the effort of packing and unpacking all your belongings.
Edwardian: People buy conservatories for any number of different reasons. Maybe you want a garden living room or a dining room with a view, or perhaps you’d like an airy home office. An Edwardian conser.
Victorian: A Victorian conservatory will become your ultimate family room, a place for everyone to get together and enjoy home living. It creates a bright, airy space for lounging, eating and entertaining.
Gable Conservatories: The Gable conservatory dates back to the Georgian period, a classically stylish era when airiness, space and light became important considerations, as they are in our Gable conservatory design.
