We were delighted at the end of March to do a long-service presentation to 4 of the team who work in the Group - Andy Carcary, Russell Mclaren and Mike Mcmanamon all of McLeods and Scott Mcnae of Meldrum - who collectively have amassed circa 125 years of service to the businesses. Quite a milestone achievement!

Successful businesses have always seen the need for development of their people and the strategic business is one that identifies and recruits staff with potential and employs them into the firm in a timely fashion. Sometimes such staff are employed in a development role from Day 1 of their employment, with a training programme planned to ensure they grow into a qualified role to suit the business needs down the line.

The middle of 2014 saw Meldrum appoint two apprentices into the firm, and the road to becoming a time-served joiner is a very different one for both of the recruits Andrew and Fraser.

We have a dedicated team of highly qualified professionals including Quantity Surveyors and Architectural Technicians who are all fully experienced in both the design process and technical construction requirements to provide you with the building of your dreams.

Our local craftsmen and workshop manufacturing facilities will ensure that the end product we supply is constructed and finished to the finest of standards by a team working in total co-ordination, with the sole aim of delivering to you exactly what you want. We are your local one stop, one point of contact, construction team who will deliver from inception through the design, Planning and Building Warrant stages to a fully completed building exactly as you had envisaged.

Meldrum Construction (Perth) have a large well equipped workshop adjacent to our Head Office and Showroom in Perth. We manufacture bespoke doors, windows, stairs etc. in all available timber styles.

Our sister company McLeod Windows also have a manufacturing base alongside us and can produce individually designed UPVC, Powder Coated Aluminium and Aluminium/Timber 'Hybrid' composite windows and doors. We manufacture traditional sash and case style windows along with modern style fully reversible windows and timber doors, gates etc. to whatever design you plan.

The McLeod/Meldrum 24 Hour Emergency Service allows you to access all trades anytime of the year and you will be able to contact our in house operative or team partner direct to ensure a fast, effective service for your emergency needs, whatever the hour.

We manufacture timber conservatories in our workshops or erect UPVC conservatories manufactured by our sister company McLeod Glaziers whose expertise in UPVC, and powder coated aluminium/ timber composite sections together with their vast knowledge in glass and glazing options allows us to provide a tailor made conservatory to suit your every requirement.

We provide a full design and build service meaning you only have one point of contact throughout the period from your idea to completion of the project during which we take care of all Planning and Building control requirements.
